God's purpose takes different forms, sizes and shapes. This could be it for a Swiss Bank Top Executive who just quit to focus on his photography.

The Swiss bank UBS announced on Tuesday that its chief risk officer is leaving to focus on his photography business and pursue academic opportunities.

Christian Bluhm's departure will not take him far from UBS. According to the Financial Times, the executive, who has been the bank's CRO since 2016, is opening a studio and gallery in Zurich's historic center, close to UBS's headquarters.

According to the Financial Times, Bluhm became interested in photography after a friend demonstrated how to photograph the Big Dipper star constellation.

"That experience so captivated me that I embarked on an unending journey into professional photography," Bluhm wrote.
