Security footage broadcast by CNN on Friday allegedly shows hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs engaging in a violent altercation with R&B singer Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel hallway in 2016. The video depicts Combs, dressed only in a white towel, reportedly punching, kicking, and dragging Cassie, who was his protégée and longtime girlfriend at the time.
The footage from March 5, 2016, captures Combs throwing a vase towards Cassie, adding to the string of public allegations and revelations of physical and sexual violence associated with the music industry figure.
The security camera footage f closely aligns with the events described in a November lawsuit filed by Cassie, legally known as Cassandra Ventura. The lawsuit, which details years of alleged sexual abuse and violence, claims the incident took place at the InterContinental Hotel in the Century City area of Los Angeles, involving hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.
