Scottie Scheffler becomes a dad

The 27-year-old professional golfer announced on Monday, May 13, that he and his wife, Meredith Scudder, welcomed their son Bennett into the world on Tuesday, May 8. Scheffler, who shared the joyous news during a press conference at the PGA Championship, also posted a heartwarming photo on Instagram of his newborn son swaddled in a white linen blanket.

"Welcome to the world little one. Your mom & dad love you so much," Scheffler captioned the image, expressing his and Meredith's immense joy. The couple, who have been together since high school, are overjoyed at their new arrival.
