Alex Fine Speaks Out After Video Emerges of Diddy Assaulting Cassie Ventura

Alex Fine, husband of Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, has spoken out after the release of a surveillance video by CNN that shows Sean "Diddy" Combs physically assaulting Ventura in 2016.

Fine took to Instagram to denounce the behavior displayed in the footage: "Men who hit women are not true men. Nor are those who support and shield such individuals," he posted. "Violence against women must not be tolerated; we need to hold our brothers, friends, and family members accountable. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives deserve to be protected and loved."

He also added, "Men who inflict pain on women have deep-seated issues with women. To all the survivors, seek people who will support and love you. Your experiences are valid, and you are believed — you are not alone."

The video aligns with claims Ventura made in a lawsuit she filed against Combs last year, showing him violently confronting Ventura in a corridor of the now-closed InterContinental Hotel Century City in Los Angeles.

Fine explained that he had written his Instagram post some time ago but waited until the release of the video to share it publicly. He offered a message of support to those currently experiencing abuse, reassuring them that there are individuals who care deeply about their safety.

Cassie separated from Combs in October 2018 and began a relationship with Fine shortly thereafter. Together, they now have two daughters. Cassie had previously been in a relationship with Combs from 2007 until their breakup. She initiated legal proceedings against him in November 2023.
